An independent family-founded structure, ABEL manages the whole of its production in its Brive-la-Gaillarde workshops, on a site of 13 000 m².

For more than 60 years, the company has been developing tailor-made products, guaranteeing a high level of responsiveness to its customers. Firmly rooted in traditional craftsmanship, ABEL has kept its eye for detail, the love of work done properly and a capability of adaptation now placing it among the leaders for the design of public lighting systems.

Quality & Customer Service

Customer satisfaction is our number one target. For this reason our teams are present throughout the project undertaking feasibility studies and supporting them technically.

The association of poles of expertize (Quality, Research units, Design) and in-house production facilities (workshops, machine fleets, laboratories) allows us to master the complete process of creation, from the drafted initial design to its manufacture.

We also warrantee an on-site after-sales service.

Since 1999, ABEL has been certified ISO 9001:2000 certified and guaranties a French manufacturing quality in conformity with international and European standards.

Implementing our ISO 14001 environmental certification obtained in 2012 as well as the eco-design of our products are also part of our commitments.

According to the EU ErP directive 2009/125/EC (Energy-related products), the environmental performance of our luminaires is improved throughout their life cycle by systematically integrating, as from the initial stages of product development, environmental considerations such as choice of material, design optimization, electronic advantages, recycling.
